Active Secret Clearance (Must be able to obtain a TS/SCI)
Bachelor’s Degree (STEM Preferred)
Experience building models in Unified Architecture Framework (UAF)
4+ years of experience in systems engineering and integration
Experience with analysis and development of engineering products for DoD and government systems
2+ years of MBSE experience developing technical specs, interface docs, and system architecture using Cameo
Skilled in building strong, collaborative relationships with government clients

An employer in the Hampton, VA, area is seeking a Lead Model Based Systems Engineer for a contract to hire opportunity. This individual will be responsible but not limited to the following: focus on using models to define missions and capabilities, ensuring they align with force design and acquisition systems. The work involves analyzing these models to prioritize capabilities and optimize system performance, while collaborating on major projects and supporting delivery teams. Will be required to sit on site 5 days/week, have an active Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI Security clearance.
