Day-to-Day:
The Document Specialist is responsible for assisting the ROW team with research, administration and coordination of several ongoing projects. Daily responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Reviewing files as they are received, preparing and maintaining ROW related folders and printed documentation
• Retrieving and reviewing current landowner SCC cards, grave or death information, on-going land sales or any other pertinent information found online, prior beneficiaries, appraisals, tax cards, vesting deed/right of title
• Responsible for recognizing title defects and/or restrictions noted in the Survey & Design reports and communicating with management for creative solutions in a timely manner
• Assist Project Managers and ROW Agents and other internal teammates in the administration/coordination of acquisition
• Provide support by researching related subjects for various projects upon request
• Ensure all documentation is maintained and completed based on updated title and any relevant changes
• Assist with the drafting and E-Recording of easements, and easement documentation quality control
• Assist with case by case project related administrative tasks requested by Project Managers and ROW Agents
• Responsible for overall tracking of all Exhibit numbers to be assigned
• Responsible for updating other related Trackers as assigned
• Respond to additional support for Title on an as-needed basis

Required Skills & Experience
Must-Haves:
• Experience with spreadsheets and documents (Excel, Google Sheets, iPad)
• MS Office experience
• Google Docs and Google Sheets experience
• At least 2 years of experience in a professional setting
• Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record
• Detail oriented
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines independently
• Professional, respectful, and trustworthy demeanor
