Job Description

- Assist in Audit Planning: Contribute to defining the audit scope, creating the audit program, and selecting appropriate procedures based on professional judgment.

- Independent Audit Execution: Conduct client interviews, gather relevant information, apply the audit methodology, and produce high-quality audit evidence and deliverables.

- Issue Identification and Communication: Identify deviations and root causes, effectively communicating findings and proposing solutions to both audit management and clients.

- IT Risk and Control Understanding: Demonstrate an enhanced understanding of the organization's IT risks, controls, and governance as they relate to internal audit work.

- Clear Communication of Control Concepts: Articulate control objectives in a way that enhances customer understanding.

- Collaboration and Relationship Building: Work collaboratively within the Audit department and establish effective relationships across the organization.

- Knowledge Sharing and Process Improvement: Willingly share expertise with colleagues and contribute ideas for improving internal audit processes.

Data Analysis and Visual Presentation: Utilize data analysis techniques to achieve audit objectives and present results visually.

Required Skills & Experience

- 3-5 Years of Relevant IT Audit Experience (Sr level)

- End-to-End Audit Process Execution: Proficiently handle the entire audit process from planning to reporting.

- Non-compliance based IT Audits

- Evaluation of general IT trends

- Adaptability to Diverse Situations, Effective Communication and Negotiation Skills

- IT Knowledge and Expertise:

* Familiarity with IT risk control frameworks such as COBIT, ITIL, NIST, and COSO.

- Data Query and Analysis Proficiency

- Project Management Abilities for small to medium sized projects

Bachelors in IT or Accounting from reputable university

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Coming from a background in insurance

Coming from a big 4

CPA, CIA, CISA, CISSP, or equivalent
