Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Civil Engineer to join their growing team. Day to day responsibilities consist of designing plans for large utility companies.
Review and approve civil/site design plans with a focus on stormwater management and drainage systems
Provide DEQ-certified sign-off on engineering designs and documentation
Lead or support the erosion & sediment control (E&S) review and approval process through county and state agencies
Coordinate with engineers, developers, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with applicable standards
Support site plan and zoning approval processes, particularly at the municipal level
Ensure all designs meet environmental regulations and permitting requirements
Identify design risks, gaps, and compliance issues prior to submission.
Salary conversion $110,000-$120,000

Required Skills & Experience
-B.S. or M.S. in an Engineering related major.
-8-10 years' experience in engineering design for energy-related projects.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
DEQ Certification (required)
Strong experience in stormwater management design and review
Experience with E&S control plan approvals through state and county agencies
Familiarity with municipal site plan and zoning approval processes
Experience supporting or leading approvals for renewable energy projects (preferred)
Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and permitting processes
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
-Experience with renewable energy projects, preferably solar in utility-scale and distribution generation projects.
- DCA (Dual Combined Administrator)
