Insight Global is supporting one of its clients on a roadway paving project based out of Port Royal, VA, with work spanning multiple locations throughout the Northern Neck region. We are seeking a Construction Inspector to support day‑to‑day field inspection activities on active paving projects. This opportunity is well‑suited for an early‑career inspector looking to gain hands‑on experience with long‑term potential following the initial contract period.
Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities:
Perform field inspections on active roadway paving projects for Insight Global’s client
Observe asphalt and/or slurry surfacing operations to ensure work meets project specifications and quality standards
Document daily construction activities, quantities, and progress reports
Coordinate with contractors and project stakeholders in the field
Verify work aligns with approved plans, safety requirements, and project expectations
Support inspection efforts across multiple roadway segments throughout the Northern Neck region

Required Skills & Experience
Required Experience:
0–3 years of construction inspection experience
Exposure to roadway or paving projects preferred
Ability to work in the field on active construction sites
Required Certifications (must have the following):
Asphalt Field Levels I & II, OR
Slurry Treatment Certification, OR
Slurry Surfacing Certification
