Job Description

One of our clients is looking for a Preconstruction Manager who oversees all estimating activities during the preconstruction phase, from initial project planning through pricing of construction documents. Responsibilities include preparing feasibility studies, developing budgets from conceptual design through bidding, performing comparative analyses and value engineering, and presenting findings to both internal teams and external clients.

Required Skills & Experience

The Preconstruction Manager should have five 5 to seven 7 years of relevant industry experience.

The Preconstruction Manager should be able to:
- Commercial Construction / GC industry experience
- Preconstruction or Estimating prior experience
- Interpret construction drawings and specifications and identify omissions or conflicts
- Communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Analyze technical documentation and complex information
- Evaluate market conditions and trade trends
- Understand and interpret geotechnical reports
