Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Top Secret Cisco ISE Administrator with 10 years of total IT experience and at least 6 years of Cisco-specific experience to support the design, implementation, and ongoing operation of Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) environments. This individual must have an active Top Secret Clearance or an interim Top Secret Clearance, along with an active IAT Level II (CCNA) and must obtain an IAT Level III (CCNP) within 12 months. This Cisco ISE Administrator will be responsible for enforcing network access and security policies across classified and unclassified enterprise networks, supporting wired, wireless, and VPN infrastructure. The ideal candidate has deep hands-on experience with Cisco ISE administration, 802.1X authentication, AnyConnect, TACACS+, and network security operations, and is comfortable acting as a subject matter expert supporting compliance, documentation, and continuous system improvement. The pay for this ranges from $57-$59/hour, based on experience.

Required Skills & Experience
• 6+ years' experience specifically supporting Cisco technologies, within 10 years of total IT/networking experience)
• Active Top Secret Clearance or an interim Top Secret Clearance
• Active IAT Level II certification (CCNA) with ability to obtain IAT Level III (CCNP) within 12 months
• Hands-on experience administering and troubleshooting Cisco ISE in enterprise environments
• Strong understanding of endpoint authentication, authorization, and profiling
• Experience implementing and supporting 802.1X (EAP‑TLS / EAP‑MSCHAPv2)
• Experience with Cisco AnyConnect, including NAM and posture modules
• Knowledge of MAC Authentication Bypass (MAB) and related troubleshooting
• Experience creating and managing ISE policies, including DACLs and VLAN assignments
• Experience with TACACS+ for network device administration
• Familiarity integrating ISE with wired, wireless, VPN, and firewall infrastructures
• Experience monitoring ISE and network performance, reviewing system logs, and contributing to status or compliance reporting
• Working knowledge of PKI and certificate-based authentication
• Strong troubleshooting skills for complex network and security issues
• Experience with system patching, upgrades, monitoring, backups, and restorations
• Strong documentation skills and ability to support SOPs and compliance efforts
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Prior experience with Cisco ACS and role-based TACACS+ configurations
• Experience with pxGrid, ThreatGrid, and Security Group Tags (SGTs)
• Exposure to Cisco Firepower, ASA, Prime, MDM, DNS/DHCP, and load‑balancing technologies
• Wireless networking experience (802.11 standards)
• Working knowledge of Active Directory, including OU structure, trusts, and identity resolution
• Experience supporting certification and accreditation (C&A) activities
•Background working in high-security or classified environments
•Experience collaborating across infrastructure, security, and operations teams
