Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Secret Front End Developer based in Dahlgren, Virginia. This Front End Developer must have an active secret clearance, IAT Level II certification, and a high school diploma. This role places a strong emphasis on front-end development, requiring 3-5 years of hands-on front-end application development experience for enhancing web applications using JavaScript and React. This Developer should also have a general understanding and desire to grow into supporting back-end development, so they can also assist with back-end activities. This role also requires experience writing automated tests, such as Unit, Performance, Acceptance, and Functional, along with writing code that integrates analytics, reporting components, and data into web applications. The Developer must also have an understanding of SQL databases, Python, and Oracle environments to support backend activities. Familiarity with Docker for running and managing containers is important for containerized development support. Knowledge of GitLab project management, Splunk, and broader DevSecOps principles is preferred and will help the developer contribute effectively to secure, modern development workflows. Strong customer service, communication, and researching skills are important. The salary for this role ranges from $95,000-$120,000, based on experience.
