Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Computing Infrastructure Engineer to assist with virtualization, infrastructure management, infrastructure configuration, and automation related to Aegis and Virtualized Aegis. The Engineer will be responsible for performing tasks to include, but are not limited to, developing scripts for automating tasks, supporting testing events with virtual infrastructure knowledge, maintaining configuration management of virtual infrastructure, assisting with third-party application integrations, and to maintain over all lab operations as part of a team.
Compensation:
$55-65/hour
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience
- Active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Ability to commute onsite to Dahlgren, VA 5 days per week.
- Experience with computing, networking (including Software Defined Networks), memory, and storage is critical for this position.
- Linux and Windows based operating system experience is required.
- Experience with Virtualization technologies and principles, specifically with the Virtual Machine Ware family of products such as ESXi, vCenter, Aria, and vSAN.
- Background and/or experience with automated deployment of computing infrastructures and network configurations utilizing technologies like Ansible, Powershell, Python, and Bash.
- Knowledge of Combat System functionality and Aegis tactical capabilities delivered and operational in the fleet.
- Ability to integrate and coordinate technical efforts with industry and Government team members, to include program offices and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work with others to meet established goals and program schedules.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Experience with Systems Engineering processes and best practices.
