Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to support a facilities environment for a government end client wihthin a top facilities services agency. This individual will be responsible for preventative maintenance and general electrical work across multiple buildings within close proximity.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on electrical work in a stable, non-construction environment and wants to move away from constant travel or field service work.

Required Skills & Experience
- 2+ years of electrical experience (commercial or facilities preferred)
- Experiecne with preventative maintenance
Strong understanding of:
- Electrical troubleshooting
- Wiring and motor controls
- Experience working with generators
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Journeyman Electrician License (VA)
- Open to candidates willing to obtain within 90 days or with an expired/in-progress license
- Experience in facilities maintenance (vs. construction)
- Exposure to systems such as:
Switchgear, panels, pumps, compressors
