Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Controller to support our dynamic manufacturing operations. This role is essential to the successful execution of complex, mission-critical components for submarine new construction and overhaul programs. The Production Controller will coordinate production planning, job tracking, and shop floor activities, while managing the Manufacturing Work Request Form (MWRF) process.
Key Responsibilities
-Schedule and manage work orders for new construction and overhaul programs.
-Monitor work-in-progress (WIP), resolve bottlenecks, and ensure timely task completion.
-Collaborate daily with manufacturing, engineering, quality assurance, and supply chain teams.
-Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate cross-functional solutions.

-Support timely fabrication and delivery of critical components.
-Communicate delays or issues to project stakeholders and assist in developing mitigation strategies.
-Coordinate manufacturing schedules to optimize resource utilization.
-Contribute to process improvement initiatives in both machine and fabrication shops.

Required Skills & Experience
-High School diploma or GED, plus vocational training in administration or manufacturing.
-Minimum of 8 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
-Strong communication skills and ability to work across departments.
