Job Description

- Serve as the single point of accountability for cost, schedule, technical performance, and customer satisfaction
- Lead and oversee a mission-critical software program, working closely with architects, developers, and engineering leadership
- Manage program financials including budgeting, forecasting, staffing plans, and margin performance
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of all contractual requirements and CDRLs
- Develop and maintain integrated master schedules and execution plans
- Lead proactive risk and opportunity management efforts
- Partner directly with the Government PMO to align on mission objectives, roadmap, and long-term strategy
- Provide transparent reporting on program health, risks, and performance to government stakeholders and senior leadership
- Maintain working knowledge of system architecture, including major components, data flows, and integrations
- Oversee coordination across software engineering, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and deployment teams
-Support growth initiatives, contract modifications, and strategic planning efforts
-Mentor and develop subordinate program managers and functional leads
- Foster collaboration across onsite and geographically distributed teams

Required Skills & Experience

- Bachelor's degree required
- 10+ years leading large-scale software or technical programs
- Active TS-SCI clearance, and either active CI-Poly or able to sit and obtain CI-Poly
- Hands-on experience managing and leading software programs, including architects, developers, and technical leads
- Strong background working in software environments (technical leadership or managing technical products)
- Experience managing the full software development lifecycle on government programs
- Direct experience supporting Intelligence Community government clients
- Experience delivering CDRLs and managing performance on government contracts
- Strong program financial management experience (budgeting, forecasting, staffing, margins)
- Currently or recently working for a defense contractor supporting a 3‑letter agency

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Prior work with government (DoD) + IC customers
- Familiarity with THRESHER or similar IC mission software platforms
- Experience supporting or integrating other DoD software systems
- PMP or PgMP certification
- Experience managing geographically distributed teams
- Background with distributed systems, data platforms, cloud environments (AWS), streaming/data tools (Kafka, NiFi, GeoMesa)
