· Proven work experience as an Oracle Database Administrator.
· Strong understanding of Oracle database management and performance tuning.
· Familiarity with the latest technologies such as Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC), Oracle Data Guard, and Oracle Cloud services.
· Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL, with the ability to write complex queries.
· Experience with database security, including user access management and data encryption techniques.
· Knowledge of scripting languages such as Shell, Python, or Perl for automation tasks.
· Oracle Database certification (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional) is highly desirable.
· Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
· Strong communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
· Install, configure, and maintain Oracle database software and related products.
· Design, implement, and manage backup and recovery plans to protect data against loss.
· Monitor and optimize database performance using tools like Oracle Enterprise Manager and SQL tuning practices.
· Ensure data integrity and security by implementing access controls and security measures.
· Work collaboratively with development teams to support application database needs and troubleshoot database-related issues.
