Job Description
One of Insight Global's clients is looking to hire for six (6) Lead Technicians to support ongoing project operations out of their Chantilly, VA office. This will be a fully onsite role, working Monday - Friday between 5am - 1pm OR 6am - 2pm. There will be opportunity for OT and possible weekend work so candidates must be flexible based on project needs.
The lead technicians will be responsible for providing training and leadership to cabling technicians, enforcing safety protocols, and be client facing on the project site. They will lead install efforts for various structured cabling projects (twisted pair, coax, Cat5/Cat6, fiber) and delivering on documentation (punch lists, SOWs, budget, scheduling, networking diagrams). The project locations will be across Northern Virginia so candidates must be comfortable going to various sites.

Required Skills & Experience
• 2–5 years of hands-on experience installing telecom cabling, TCP/IP networks, CCTV, wireless, and access control systems (at least 1 year of leadership/supervisory experience overseeing other technicians)
• Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort with power tools and hand tools
• Solid understanding of ANSI/TIA/EIA cabling standards and National Electrical Code
• Ability to install, terminate, and test low-voltage and fiber optic cables
• Strong documentation and organizational skills
• Experience working with installation planning tools and client-facing reporting
