Job Description

Drive the development of electrical systems and subsystems throughout the entire product lifecycle, from initial concept and architecture through validation, release, and production, while ensuring compliance with safety, reliability, and electromagnetic compatibility requirements.

Establish electrical requirements and technical specifications for sensing technologies, wireless communication hardware, power management systems, and control electronics used in advanced integrated platforms.

Create and review detailed circuit schematics for mixed-signal and high-speed digital hardware, including FPGA-based designs, and support PCB layout activities to ensure performance and manufacturability.

Design and optimize custom DC/DC power conversion solutions with a focus on power integrity, efficiency, and reliability across a wide operating range and demanding environmental conditions.

Develop high-power AC/DC power architectures, including power factor correction and regulated output designs, to support mission-critical applications requiring dependable performance and broad input voltage compatibility.

Lead hardware bring-up, integration, and troubleshooting efforts, utilizing laboratory test equipment to evaluate, characterize, and validate both custom-designed and commercial off-the-shelf electronics.

Perform detailed electrical analysis and simulation activities focused on signal integrity, power integrity, thermal performance, and EMI/EMC risk reduction to improve first-pass design success.

Build and evaluate prototype hardware, execute rapid design iterations, and develop comprehensive verification and validation plans to ensure product readiness and compliance.

Partner closely with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineering, embedded software, manufacturing, quality, product management, and program leadership to deliver integrated solutions.

Maintain thorough engineering documentation, including design specifications, bills of materials, test procedures, validation reports, configuration records, firmware releases, and compliance documentation.
