Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Project Scheduler to support large-scale electrical construction projects within a data center environment. This individual will be embedded onsite and work closely with Project Managers and field leadership to maintain accurate, up-to-date project schedules. The ideal candidate has a strong construction background, is comfortable walking active job sites, and can translate real-world progress and challenges into actionable schedule updates. This role is critical in managing fluctuating schedules driven by equipment delays and construction sequencing changes and is expected to remain onsite through project completion over the next two years

Day-to-Day:
• Maintain and update detailed construction schedules for a multi-building data center project
• Track and document schedule impacts related to:
○ Equipment manufacturer delays
○ Design changes
○ Field conditions
• Walk the project site regularly to gather real-time progress updates
• Communicate schedule status, risks, and impacts to Project Managers
• Coordinate with Foremen and Superintendents to validate sequencing and manpower plans
• Maintain logs documenting schedule changes and impacts
• Support performance and progress reporting throughout the project lifecycle
• Serve as the central point of contact for schedule communication between the field and PM team

Required Skills & Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a construction scheduling role
• Hands-on experience using:
○ Microsoft Project
○ Primavera (P6)
○ Bluebeam
○ Microsoft Office products
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing and scope
• Experience supporting ground-up construction projects (data center experience preferred but not required)
• Ability to work onsite full-time and walk active job sites
• Strong communication skills with ability to interface with:
○ Project Managers
○ Foremen
○ Superintendents
• Experience tracking schedule impacts, delays, and progress updates
