Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Project Manager for a top construction and mission‑critical infrastructure client. This individual will lead complex BMS and EPMS construction projects from kickoff through closeout, owning scope, schedule, financial performance, and client relationships. Day-to-Day:
Own projects from award through commissioning, closeout, and warranty
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and labor forecasts
Manage budgets, cost tracking, forecasting, and overall financial performance
Lead contract reviews, buyouts, and vendor/subcontractor coordination
Oversee RFIs, submittals, change orders, and T&M tracking
Partner with field leadership on manpower planning and execution strategies
Support commissioning, punch list completion, and turnover documentation
Ensure installation quality, safety compliance, and documentation standards
Identify and escalate project risks to protect scope, schedule, and budget
Mentor and lead project teams through one-on-ones, reviews, and development plans
Act as escalation point for project and field challenges
Serve as primary client and GC point of contact and lead coordination meetings

Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience in electrical, controls, or mechanical construction
Proven experience managing large-scale or mission-critical construction projects
Strong knowledge of construction contracts, scheduling, and change management
Hands-on experience with project financials, labor forecasting, and cost reporting
Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
Experience working in fast-paced, industrial construction environments
Willingness and ability to travel regionally
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience with BMS, EPMS, or controls systems
Data center or critical infrastructure project experience
Proficiency with Procore or similar construction project management tools
Prior experience mentoring or leading Project Managers, APMs, or Project Engineers
Strong commissioning and closeout experience
