Job Description
A client of Insight Global is looing for a Field Service Support Specialist to come and support their team in Ashburn, VA. This role is responsible for supporting field service operations through effective scheduling, coordination, and administrative oversight. The position works closely with factory personnel to ensure seamless execution of service activities, track project progress, identify potential risks, and recommend corrective actions. Responsibilities include collecting and analyzing data related to field performance and customer feedback to support continuous improvement. The role also manages inventory by coordinating with procurement teams to ensure timely replenishment, maintaining accurate records of inventory transactions, supporting system audits, and tracking the shipping and receiving of field service parts and test equipment. Additionally, the position contributes to the development of asset tracking systems, maintains calibration records and certifications for tools and PPE, supports documentation reviews to ensure compliance with customer requirements, and assists in scheduling post-commissioning and emergency services.
Hourly pay ranges from $38.50-$47.00

Required Skills & Experience
• Ability to multi-task and manager multiple projects at once
• Strong communication and documentation skills, preferably in SAP or Procore and MS Office
• Ability to coordinate and manager multiple schedules and travel bookings
• Experience in tracking equipment expiration and recalibration dates
• Ability to travel 25% of the time
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience with power distribution systems (switchgears, ATSs, etc)
