Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an experienced and dedicated Early Works Construction Program Engineer to join one of our largest technology clients. This team is part of the Cloud Infrastructure Land Development & Community (LDC) organization and is esponsible for delivering datacenter campus sites to a condition ready for permanent works to begin, to support construction of Data Centers to start quickly to meet customer capacity needed to build out cloud services. The Prepositioning and Early Works Construction Program Manager and regional leads to support portfolio management and evaluate sites to preposition capacity for datacenter campus sites to a condition ready for permanent works. This will include evaluating a regional portfolio of projects with a wide variety of unique requirements including building demolition, environmental remediation, grading, vegetation removal, substation construction, etc.



Specific Job Task -- This Project Engineer will work with the Early Works Manager and Land Development team to ensure that: 1) construction details and permit requirements are confirmed, 2) inform and confirm scope, schedule and budget for prepositioning projects 3) communicate key risks, mitigations across program porfolio, 4) overall schedule is maintained, and 5) report on Key Metrics related to project timeline and predictability. This role requires regular engagement with key stakeholders, including land development, Security, Legal, design, construction, and operations teams, regulatory agencies, and outside consultants and contractors.





Roles and Responsibilities - The Early Works Construction Program Manager is part of a team that represents the owner for the construction and delivery of the early site development of our sites. Specific responsibilities will include:

* Regular engagement with On-site Construction Management of Early Works delivery.

* Accountability for developing, managing, and reporting on safety, scope, schedule, and budget across a portfolio of prepositioning projects.

* Regular internal reporting of project status and costs to meet KPI's and budget requirements.

* Coordinate meetings and activities of across stakeholder and metro teams.

* Creates relationships to drive orchestration and integration efforts for the development and implementation process of multiple prepositioning sites.

* Collaborates and coordinates across stakeholder teams to ensure alignment on prepositioning project scope, schedule and budgets.

* Partners with land development managers to gather project data, analyze site due diligence data, and make recommendations for prepositioning projects.

* Collaborates with others to track, coordinate, and communicate construction project schedules. Works with others to establish and monitor processes, and helps hold stakeholders accountable for following the established schedule and processes. Helps track and manage dependencies to identify potential risk areas and escalate appropriately.



Pay Range: 35/hr-70/hr

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Construction Project Management, Civil, or Architectural Engineering, or related field AND 5+ years of related experience or equivalent experience

5+ years of progressive responsibility in development and delivery of complex capital projects and programs.

5+ years of construction program and project management experience in America, including cross coordination amongst disciplines.

Experience with mission critical facilities or large-scale construction projects.
