Job Description
Insight Global is looking to hire a Senior Cyber Solutions Architect for one of our clients, sitting hybrid out of the Arlington, VA area. This individual will lead the design and delivery of innovative cybersecurity and IT solutions across federal government programs and projects. This role requires a blend of technical leadership, solution strategy, and hands-on prototyping expertise. The ideal candidate is comfortable navigating complex stakeholder environments, translating mission requirements into compelling technical visions, and guiding cross-functional teams from concept to delivery.
This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to federal customers—leading multiple teams in rapidly iterating on solution design, validating concepts through prototypes, and presenting strategic recommendations to executives and stakeholders. Success in this role requires critical thinking, technical breadth and depth, and a proven ability to overcome constraints such as budget, schedule, and available resources to deliver value-driven outcomes.
Compensation:
$100/hr to $108/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience
- Active Top Secret (or higher) security clearance
- 7+ years of experience as a technical lead, solutions architect, or senior engineer on medium to large federal IT programs
- Strong cybersecurity operations background, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience implementing or integrating cybersecurity technologies such as SIEM, SOAR, TIP, vulnerability management, or threat detection platforms
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, including Zero Trust, cloud security, and federal compliance requirements
- Ability to drive strategic alignment across cyber mission domains by understanding current objectives, identifying future needs, and connecting capabilities to build sustainable capacity.
- Demonstrated experience creating prototypes and presenting technical concepts to various stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience working with multi-level cybersecurity data
- Proven ability to model and forecast technical resource needs (e.g., CPU, network throughput, storage) and labor requirements, documented in structured formats such as a Basis of Estimate (BOE)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Previous DHS or CISA experience
- Experience applying AI/ML to cybersecurity use cases (e.g., threat detection, automation).
- Broad technical experience across domains, including Software Development, Cloud Infrastructure, Networking, Data Engineering, and Testing.
- Experience with pricing strategy, hardware/software acquisition, and workshare negotiation in teaming environments.
- Proven ability to build external relationships with industry peers, partners, and vendors.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, AWS/Azure Cloud certifications, or PMP.
