Secret Cloud Infrastructure Administrator Lvl 5

A client of Insight Global is seeking a level 5 Cloud Infrastructure Administrator to support the design, build, and ongoing sustainment of secure, scalable cloud environments in Microsoft Azure. This is a first shift, onsite position based in Berkeley, Missouri; Seattle, Washington; or Daytona Beach, Florida. This role requires an active U.S. Secret Clearance (active within the past 24 months) and the ability to obtain access to Special Access Programs (SAP).
This individual will be responsible for building and maintaining the foundational cloud infrastructure that supports enterprise applications, software toolchains, and digital engineering workloads. The role is heavily focused on infrastructure operations, automation, and reliability—not application development.
This position will work across networking, compute, storage, identity, security, and automation domains to develop repeatable infrastructure patterns and ensure consistent, stable cloud operations.

Salary range goes from $180k-$208k

- Active U.S. Secret Clearance (active within the past 24 months)
- Ability to obtain access to Special Access Programs (SAP)
- 14+ years of experience with bachelor's degree if no bachelor's degree 13 YOE
- 3+ years of experience in cloud computing and infrastructure management
- 3+ years of experience designing, building, and operating cloud infrastructure in Azure or AWS
- 3+ years of experience developing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, ARM, or Bicep
- 3+ years of experience writing scripts (PowerShell or similar) to automate deployment and configuration

- Azure certifications (Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect, etc.)
- Experience with Azure networking (private connectivity, DNS, load balancing, hybrid connectivity)
- Experience with cloud governance (policies, subscriptions, resource organization)
- Experience supporting highly regulated or mission-critical environments
- Experience designing for high availability and resilience
- Experience with cost optimization and cloud resource governance
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or related field
