Job Description

The Infrastructure & Systems Administrator is responsible for maintaining, securing, and optimizing the organization’s Microsoft 365 and on-premises environments. This role oversees identity, access, compliance, and infrastructure performance to ensure alignment with IT policies, NIST and CMMC standards, and overall business objectives. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, a security-first mindset, and the ability to automate, improve, and modernize systems to meet compliance and operational requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

Key Qualifications:
• Demonstrated ability to execute strategies, optimize performance, and ensure compliance with IT policies, data protection requirements, and audit frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of NIST and CMMC requirements; background in security and federal compliance is a major plus.
• Deep understanding of current technology trends, cybersecurity practices, and IT service management methodologies.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
o Azure AD, ADFS, Azure AD Connect, Conditional Access, SSO/Federation
o Microsoft Purview
o Ivanti Suite (patching, licensing, and asset management)
• Strong experience automating tasks using scripting tools such as PowerShell, Power Automate, and Python.
• Experience integrating and managing cloud technologies (Microsoft 365, SaaS applications, SAML, OAuth, SCIM).
• Knowledge of Group Policy Management, Kerberos, LDAP, NTLM, and other authentication protocols.
• Strong familiarity with identity and security frameworks such as Zero Trust, PAM, and MFA.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Review and modernize Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Intune) and on-prem Active Directory to ensure alignment with ISO, NIST, and CMMC guidelines.
• Audit and enhance Microsoft Entra ID and on-prem AD identity structures including privileged access, conditional access, role-based access, and discretionary access controls.
• Configure, improve, and maintain Ivanti platforms to support patching, asset tracking, software inventory, and license management.
• Implement and manage Microsoft Purview solutions including DLP policies, sensitivity labels, classification, records management, and risk controls.
• Drive automation initiatives to improve system reliability, reduce manual effort, and maintain consistent infrastructure practices.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, compliance, and internal audit teams to ensure technology and documentation meets regulatory and organizational requirements.
• Deliver environment upgrades, migrations, and integration support for SaaS technologies and identity-based platforms.
• Provide operational support, troubleshooting, and incident management across cloud and on-prem infrastructure services.
