Job Description

The Business Development Manager holds primary responsibility for identifying and qualifying Department of Defense (DoD) business opportunities, capturing new business, and building a robust pipeline to meet or exceed the companys growth targets. This role involves close collaboration with Operations and Proposal teams to ensure a smooth transition into proposal development and to support proposal efforts as needed. Additionally, the individual will develop and recommend business development strategies aimed at maximizing customer engagement, expanding market presence, and driving both tactical and strategic growth.

Required Skills & Experience

Experience includes significant engagement with Science and Technology (S&T) customer organizations such as AFRL, DARPA, CCDC, OSD, and the U.S. Space Force.
Knowledge and experience of the entire growth lifecycle business development, capture management, and proposals.
7-10 years of relevant experience in a Business Development position or Operational position heavily involved in Business Development for wide array of DoD customer organizations.
Demonstrated success in business development across a range of acquisition sizes.
Established relationships and direct access to key government customers and industry partners.
Proven leadership in planning, organizing, and executing complex business development initiatives, including team formation, win probability assessments, and execution of strategic customer engagement plans.
