Principal Network Engineer

A client of Insight Global is looking for 1 Principal Network Engineer to work fully onsite at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA in support of one of their government customers to support a modernization initiative. As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be trusted to review and evaluate IT infrastructure and systems to ensure adherence to company and customer quality standards.

· Active TS/SCI (can take TS w/ SCI eligibility)
· Bachelor's Degree in related field or comparable professional experience in lieu of a degree
· 10+ years of Networking experience
· Experience with collecting legacy configuration data to develop new configurations for Life Cycle Replacement (LCR) devices.
· Experiencing deinstalling Cisco, Juniper, Arista, and/or Aruba Routers and Switches
· Experience developing, peer reviewing and installing updated / new configurations on Routers and Switches
· Experience installing Routers and Switches
· Experience with collecting post deployment configuration data to validate successful implementation
· IAT level 2 Cert (i.e. Sec +/CE)
· Hands on experience working with Cisco, Juniper, Arista and/or Aruba networking equipment
- One of the following certifications: Brocade, Cisco (CCNA/CCNP), or Juniper (JNCIA/JNCIS/JNCIP), Aruba

· Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining Aruba Networking equipment
· Demonstrated experience with implementation and or management of 802.1x protocol
· Demonstrated experience with BGP peering
· Demonstrated experience with implementation and or troubleshooting of both Layer 2 and Layer 3 network hardware
- Demonstrated ability to develop and assist in implementation of processes improvements
