Job Description
The LMS Implementation & Support Specialist is a key partner to the digital team during the transition from our legacy learning platform, to a new Learning Management System built in partnership with our digital agency (vendor).
This role focuses on platform ownership, user experience, quality assurance, and long-term sustainability of the learning ecosystem. The Specialist serves as a hands-on subject-matter expert – supporting users today while helping shape and launch the future platform.
New LMS Implementation & Quality Assurance:
• Serve as LMS subject-matter expert during implementation, partnering with the digital agency in an agile delivery environment to review requirements, validate workflows, and test features across events, courses, integrations, and releases using Jira.
• Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) from the client perspective to ensure the system meets real-world operational needs.
• Identify risks, gaps, and usability issues early and recommend practical solutions.
Targeting $20-$26 an hour pay range.

Required Skills & Experience
• 2+ years of hands-on experience working with Learning Management Systems in an implementation, support, or platform ownership role.
• Demonstrated experience supporting users in an LMS environment (staff, facilitators/presenters, or learners).
• Hands-on experience working in a WordPress environment with an LMS plugin or platform (e.g., LearnDash, Moodle, Canvas, or similar).
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience supporting an LMS migration or major platform transition.
• Familiarity working in agile product teams and tools such as Jira for backlog review, testing feedback, and release coordination.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG/Section 508) in digital learning environments
