Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a high-performing, senior-level Business Development Manager to drive strategic growth across our federal health portfolio. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of the federal healthcare landscape (DHA, HHS, NIH, CDC) and most importantly, a robust, active network of industry and government contacts across a variety of Health clients. This role requires a proven track record of identifying, qualifying, and capturing new business opportunities, as well as managing recompetes to fuel company growth.
Key Responsibilities:
-Pipeline Development & Growth Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive federal healthcare growth strategy, maintaining a 2-year strategic pipeline of opportunities.
-Relationship Management: Leverage an existing "rolodex" of relationships across federal health agencies (DHA, HHS) to foster client connections, gain customer insights, and position the company as a preferred vendor.
-Teaming & Partnerships: Identify, negotiate with, and build partnerships with strategic teaming partners (primes and subs).
-Market Intelligence: Monitor federal procurement trends, specifically in health IT, electronic health records (EHR) modernization, and digital transformation.
-Executive Reporting: Brief executive leadership on pipeline health, pursuit status, and win strategies.

Required Skills & Experience
-Experience: 10+ years of experience in federal business development, capture, or account management, with a focus on Federal Health.
-Network: An established, active network of contacts within DHA, HHS or Federal Healthcare or Commercial Healthcare clientele
-Contracting Knowledge: Strong understanding of FAR-based contracting, IDIQ, BPA, and GSA MAS vehicles.
-Education: Bachelor’s degree
-Clientele: experience within any of the following healthcare arenas: clinical space, ICD/ISR, pharmacy, healthcare data analytics, wellness center, healthcare transformation
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Domain Expertise: Familiarity with Military Health System (MHS) initiatives, such as readiness, resilience, and medical IT modernization.
Certifications: Shipley or APMP certification.
