F5 Network Engineer

A client of Insight Global is looking for 1 F5 Network Engineers to work fully onsite at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA in support of one of their government customers to support a modernization initiative. As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be trusted to review and evaluate IT infrastructure and systems to ensure adherence to company and customer quality standards. Some of the day-to-day responsibilities will include:

- Designs, plans, and builds communications networks
- Configures Routers and Switches, and firewalls for LAN and WAN systems and VPN concentrators
- Coordinates LAN/WAN hardware/software improvements and/or enhancements
- Monitor the Network
- Maintain network integrity and connectivity while ensuring compliance with policies and maintains system backup and recovery capability

· Active TS/SCI (or TS with SCI eligibility)
· Bachelor's Degree in related field or comparable professional experience in lieu of a degree
· 5+ years of Networking experience
· IAT level 2 Cert (i.e. Sec +/CE)
· One or more of the Following certifications: CCNA or CCNP or ACSA
· Hands on experience working with Cisco, Juniper, Arista and/or Aruba networking equipment
- Experience with F5 load balancers to include troubleshooting, configuring, upgrading, maintaining, and monitoring enterprise F5 load balancer network architecture

· Demonstrated experience with implementation and or management of 802.1x protocol
· Demonstrated experience with implementation and or troubleshooting of both Layer 2 and Layer 3 network hardware
- F5 Network Certification
