Job Description
A client of Insight Global is seeking a remote Director of Business Development (Local to DMV). The Director of Business Development is responsible for establishing, enhancing, and promoting trusted relationships with Tria’s target customers. This role focuses on building and prosecuting a strong pipeline within the NIH and HHS space.
Key responsibilities include:
Identifying, assessing, and capturing NIH and HHS business opportunities
Assisting in the closure of federal contracts
Facilitating identification of customer mission needs
Promoting the full range of Tria’s corporate capabilities
Developing and executing an account plan for the NIH and HHS market
Leading Tria’s customer engagement strategy
Identifying and cultivating new opportunities
Contributing to win strategies for strategic captures
Optimizing both internal and external collaborations
Compensation:
$160k to $220k per year annual salary.

Demonstrated unrestricted, full-and-open federal contract wins
1–2 specific awarded FDA or NIH full-and-open contracts within the past 2 years
10+ years of federal business development experience with documented wins
More recent experience must be NIH/FDA-specific
Local to the DMV area
