Job Description
We are seeking a strategic and execution-focused Data Governance Implementation Specialist to drive the implementation and operationalization of a company-wide data governance program. The team is transforming how the organization sources, manages, and utilizes data to drive business growth and optimize the product lifecycle. This individual will lead the implementation of the data governance program, interface with business units, data stewards, and domain owners to define strategy, draft policies, and embed governance practices. The position requires a strategic thinker with hands-on execution capabilities and a strong understanding of data governance frameworks, compliance standards, and stakeholder engagement.

Required Skills & Experience
• Proven experience leading the implementation of enterprise-wide data governance programs
• 5+ years in data governance, data quality management, or related fields
• Strong understanding of governance frameworks, principles, and best practices
• Familiarity with data privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science or related field
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Certification in data governance or data management (e.g., DAMA CDMP)
• Experience with governance tools like Collibra, Alation, Informatica, Atlan, Manta
