Job Description
Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial, residential, or infrastructure projects.
Analyze architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and other documentation.
Develop quantity take-offs and cost breakdowns for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
Collaborate with project teams to refine budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers for accuracy and competitiveness.
Maintain and update cost databases and historical pricing records.
Assist in preparing bid proposals and presentations for clients.
Monitor project costs during execution and provide variance reports.
Stay current with industry trends, pricing, and construction technologies.

Required Skills & Experience
• 3-5 years of proven cost estimating experience (either with a cost consultant or General Contractor)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Bluebeam and other industry estimating software
• Knowledge of estimating at each design phase, including conceptual, schematic design, design development, and construction documents
• Able to accurately perform quantity take-offs for all items, and accurately developing estimates within client guidelines and expectations
