Job Description

Insight Global is assisting a prominent manufacturer of vacuum trucks identify a Heavy Equipment Mechanic. The Heavy Equipment Mechanic will perform service and repair procedures on truck-mounted vacuum equipment both in the shop and in the field.

Key responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
- Effectively read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics
- Performs and document "check in" and "check out" inspections of fleet equipment
- Maintain and organize shop and storage areas, ensuring a standard of excellence is met.
- Effectively complete all documentation of work performed

Required Skills & Experience

- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum three (3) years, verifiable experience as a mechanic with heavy equipment (ex: Excavators, Bulldozers, Loaders, Dump Trucks, etc.)
