Job Description
A large financial services client is looking for a Middle Office Analyst to join their team. This team is part of the larger Global Banking and Markets organization and directly supports the front office. This person will be supporting the Synthetics and Swaps business. The team is comprised of two middle office functions, settlements and confirmations. They will be responsible for the following:
- This person will be making sure trades are allocated to client accounts and ensuring bookings are accurate
- They will be processing corporate actions (specifically M&A)
- They will make sure whatever cash spins off a trades are allocated.
- They will also have responsibilities with SWIFT market, cash flow inflow, and reconciliation of positions
- They will calculate Risk and PnL daily
- They will sit alongside the settlements and confirmations teams and gain exposure to their responsibilities

Required Skills & Experience
- 1+ years within a global markets institution
- Exposure or experience with derivatives
- Understanding of the life cycle of a trade
