Job Description
Insight Global is looking for an Industrial Engineer who will be responsible for using AutoDesk FlexSim to model manufacturing production processes, run experiments, and discover optimal solutions to problems in the manufacturing environment. Key activities will include understanding production processes, querying and acquiring data, and creating models and simulations. This position will also be responsible for preparing and delivering analytical and business results to the management of operations, manufacturing, and engineering functions. This role is located onsite in Salt Lake City and will be a 6-8 month contract to start with, with conversion to full-time permanent employee afterwards. It will be a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off.

Required Skills & Experience
•Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
•Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 10 years of prior relevant engineering experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 8 years of prior related engineering experience. In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 15 years of prior related engineering experience.
•Minimum of three years of experience working with AutoDesk FlexSim
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
•Proficiency with statistical software such as Minitab or JMP
•Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
•Proficiency with AI analysis tools such as Prodex Labs or Claude for Excel
•Six Sigma Green Belt certification
