Insight Global is searching for a GIS Analyst to join a large oil and gas company in Salt Lake City. The main function of this role is to provide project and operation support utilizing the company's Geographic information systems. The ideal candidate will be someone who excels at teamwork and can communicate and collaborate effectively with others. In this role, you will set up and manage Project GIS, coordinating project surveys and data acquisition. You will be responsible for loading, referencing, projecting, and preparing data from external providers. Additionally, you will manage changes for Project GIS and prepare project deliverables, such as authorization, land acquisition, design, and construction. You will interpret user needs and develop useful GIS applications, while also setting up and maintaining spatial databases and database connections.
