Overview: One of Insight Global’s higher education clients is seeking an organized, people‑oriented Lifecycle Engagement Specialist to support a University’s Lifecycle Engagement and Referral Platform initiatives This entry-level role focuses on operational excellence, campaign execution, stakeholder support, and platform maintenance to ensure a seamless and engaging user experience. Working closely with Lifecycle Engagement Strategists, this role assists in implementing campaigns, managing platform workflows, coordinating stakeholder requests, and maintaining reporting accuracy. The Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring engagement initiatives are executed accurately, on time, and aligned with established strategy.
This position is ideal for someone early in their marketing or engagement career who is detail-oriented, collaborative, and eager to grow within a fast-paced digital engagement environment. The ideal candidate is detail‑driven, comfortable juggling multiple tasks, and confident in communicating boundaries and process expectations in a positive, service‑minded way.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Support the execution of campaigns and engagement initiatives within the Lifecycle Engagement/Referral Platform.

Assist with content uploads, activity setup, and journey configuration under Strategist direction.
Respond to platform messages, referral inbox communications, and general engagement inquiries in alignment with established guidelines.
Track and route platform support tickets to appropriate teams and ensure timely follow-up.
Assist with preparing recurring reports for referral campaigns, engagement metrics, and platform activity.
Provide administrative support for activity approvals and backend processes.
Assist with live event support, including Referral Program booth preparation and implementation at commencements.
Attend approximately 75% of required events annually, which may include 3–4 days of travel per event (travel covered by WGU).
Escalate platform issues, process gaps, or stakeholder concerns to Strategists as appropriate.
Contribute ideas for improving workflows, consolidating orders, and enhancing store operations

Required Skills & Experience
Must-haves:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related field
0–1 year of experience in marketing, communications, digital engagement, or related field
High attention to detail and process adherence
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Comfort learning and navigating digital platforms and marketing tools
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment
Collaborative mindset and willingness to take direction
Basic understanding of marketing, engagement, or communications principles preferred
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Clear, confident communication skills with the ability to set expectations and maintain positive relationships

Experience with Marketing tools and platforms
Background supporting events, merchandise programs, or marketing campaign coordination
