Job Description

Overview: One of Insight Global’s healthcare staffing clients is seeking a seasoned Senior Business Systems Analyst to support the release of a new product. This role blends business analysis, product ownership, and cross‑functional coordination. The BSA will manage requirements, lead backlog refinement, support sprint execution, and partner closely with engineering, UI teams, and healthcare stakeholders. As the team prepares for its first major release later this year, the ideal candidate will bring strong healthcare domain knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to turn complex workflows into clear, actionable stories.

Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities:

Maintain a clear, prioritized backlog and lead refinement sessions with Product and Engineering

Participate in sprint ceremonies, providing business and client context to guide decisions

Gather and document requirements from internal teams and healthcare partners

Translate complex workflows into user stories, acceptance criteria, and process diagrams

Support data ingestion needs, including API‑based and file‑based integrations

Lead UAT planning and execution, coordinating scenarios, defects, and sign‑off

Partner with Legal, Compliance, UX, and engineering teams to ensure alignment across workstreams

Maintain organized documentation and create user guides, support materials, and training content

Required Skills & Experience

Must‑haves:

5+ years as a BSA, Product Owner, or similar role supporting software development teams

Strong understanding of healthcare environments, including clinical or administrative workflows, EHR systems, or health‑tech platforms

Demonstrated ability to write high‑quality user stories and acceptance criteria

Experience owning UAT end‑to‑end

Strong backlog management skills and comfort operating as the primary bridge between Product and Engineering

Hands‑on experience in Agile/Scrum environments

Excellent communication and facilitation skills across technical and non‑technical audiences

Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Miro/Visio, or similar tools

Bachelor’s degree

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Plusses:

Experience in a hybrid BSA/Product Owner role

Familiarity with data ingestion patterns (APIs, file imports, ETL concepts)

Exposure to CRM or sales‑enablement platforms (e.g., Salesforce)

Experience with SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or similar reporting tools

Background in provider scheduling, locum tenens staffing, or healthcare workforce management

Experience coordinating privacy or compliance‑related workstreams

Comfort using AI‑powered tools to streamline documentation and analysis
