Secret Cleared Jr Atlassian Developer

Insight Global is seeking a Secret Cleared Jr Atlassian Developer to join one of their top federal clients on a large defensive weaponry program. This individual will be joining the Information Services team and will be supporting the Mission of Strategic Deterrence through continuous improvements and Innovation. Some of their responsibilities will be:
- Effective communication and collaboration with team members at all levels
- Provide support to technical and non-technical teams to use Atlassian tools
- Manage user permissions for tools according to the needs of projects and teams
- Improve application security. Set access permissions for Jira projects and Confluence spaces
- Test new versions of the tools and plug-ins to ensure compatibility
- Additional responsibilities as requested

- Active Secret Clearance
- Bachelors Degree in a STEM/technical discipline
- 3-6 years of experience in an IT/technical background
- Knowledge of standard IT disciplines
- Systems Administration, Database Administration, etc.
- Knowledge in Linux
- Familiarity with Jira and its uses (user or developer standpoint)
- Willingness to learn backend development for Atlassian tools
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Groovy and JavaScript) for automating tasks

- Active Top Secret or higher level clearance
- CompTIA Security+ or other IAT level II Certification
- Masters Degree in a technical STEM/technical discipline
- Development experience of Atlassian tools (Jira and Confluence)
- Automation, Workflow, and database structure experience
