Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Mid-Level Electrical Engineer to join our team for an exciting opportunity to work on a unique government contract. The primary responsibility of the Electrical Engineer is to partner closely with the government customer, applying sound engineering principles and industry best practices to improve weapon system reliability, performance, and operational effectiveness. This is a highly collaborative position.
• Analyze and assess both basic and complex wiring diagrams.
• Conduct preliminary diagnostics and troubleshooting of equipment and selected system elements.
• Confirm designs meet defined technical and performance requirements through verification and validation activities.
• Develop, review, and maintain engineering artifacts such as drawings, test plans, test results, and supporting technical documentation.
• Evaluate technical inputs from multiple engineering disciplines for accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
• Identify, assess, and recommend updates or replacements for weapon system hardware and components.
• Formulate and confidently present technical justifications supporting proposed design changes or component replacements.
• Apply end-to-end product development knowledge, including concept definition, detailed design, procurement support, engineering test execution, root-cause analysis of failures, and system integration through qualification and sustainment.

Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor of Science in an Electronic engineering, Electrical engineering, physics, or mathematics.
• 3-6 years related (2 yrs with MS degree)
• Ability to translate complex technical information into clear, understandable language for non technical stakeholders
• Ability to obtain secret clearance
• Ability to work onsite five days a week
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Active Secret Clearance or higher
