Job Description

An oncology provider in Webster, TX is looking to bring on a Certified Admixture Pharmacy Technician to join their team. This person will be responsible for the preparation of chemotherapy pre-medications, admixing drugs for chemotherapy treatments, maintaining the cleanliness of preparation rooms, and managing the inventory of pharmaceuticals. This person should be experienced and comfortable in reviewing orders for completeness and generating appropriate labels for admixture, preparing and compounding sterile medications, and utilizing mathematical calculations and metric conversions to determine the correct quantities of medication for admixture.

Required Skills & Experience

• 1 year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
• Texas State Board of Pharmacy Certification
• IV Certified
• Sterile Compounding Certification (CSPT) and experience
• Experience or willingness to learn to mix chemotherapy
• Experience with pharmaceutical calculations and conversions
• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Retail Experience
• Bilingual (Spanish)
• Experience working with Chemo
