Job Description

A client of Insight Global is seeking an Advanced Concepts Engineer to join their team in the Clear Lake, TX area. This person will be responsible for the design, development, and presentation of advanced concepts. They'll work with internal and external customers to assess the feasibility of an advanced concept. They will also collaborate to integrate studies, develop concept presentations, author trade studies or conceptual papers, and collaborate with business development on potential future programs.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience as a mechanical, electrical, computer, or systems engineer in the Civil or Commercial Space Industry



Bachelor's degree in math, physics, aerospace, or related field



Experience developing systems and related integration



Python or MATLAB familiarity



Space exploration experience

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Master's degree in math, physics, aerospace engineering, or related field



10+ years of experience in space systems



Experience with product development



3D printing experience
