Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a IAM Manager for our client in Waller, TX. The IAM Manager oversees the organization’s identity and access management program, leading a team of IAM engineers and analysts while driving secure, compliant access across all systems and applications. Each day involves guiding the team through operational tasks such as provisioning, deprovisioning, access lifecycle management, and privileged access oversight, while also steering strategic initiatives that strengthen authentication, authorization, and identity governance. The role partners closely with infrastructure, application, and business stakeholders to integrate secure access controls, enforce RBAC and least‑privilege principles, and ensure enterprise authentication platforms—SSO, MFA, and federation—are operating effectively. The IAM Manager serves as the escalation point for complex identity issues, maintains audit readiness through access reviews and certifications, and ensures alignment with frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, SOX, and SOC 2. This position also manages risk by maintaining identity‑related entries in the risk register, supporting audits, and ensuring consistent enforcement of identity policies across the enterprise. As a people leader, the IAM Manager conducts performance evaluations, sets goals, mentors staff, and allocates resources across operational and project work, all while collaborating with IT leadership, auditors, and business teams to reduce access‑related risk and strengthen the organization’s security posture.
