Job Description

A midstream client is seeking a Materials Handler to join their team in Mentone, Texas. The Materials Handler safely and efficiently moves, loads, and unloads materials—often up to 12,000 lbs—using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment. The role includes packaging, labeling, documentation, and identifying mechanical and electrical materials such as pipe, valves, fittings, wire, and conduit. Responsibilities also include recording part and serial information for MTR/CERT retrieval, performing inventory audits and cycle counts, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment in compliance with the company’s and OSHA standards. The Materials Handler supports continuous improvement efforts, meets departmental performance expectations, and performs additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience

- 1+ year of oil and gas experience – specifically working with industry parts
- 2+ years of forklift experience
- HS Diploma
- Knowledge of and how to identify material including mechanical (Pipe, Valves, and
Fittings) and electrical (Wire, Tray, Conduit, and Components)
- Able to read and document part numbers/heat numbers/serial numbers to retrieve
MTR’s/CERTS
- Distribution experience similar to the packaging/shipping/receiving activities

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Materials handling/distribution software experience
