Job Description
An employer in The Woodlands, TX area is seeking a Data Scientist to join their team. The data scientist will be joining a new group within the organization focused on the optimization of business processes utilizing advanced technology, data, and AI tools. On a daily basis, the Data Scientist will be responsible for data analytics, model deployment, reporting, and AI road mapping for the group. They will be working heavily in Python on a daily basis as well as tools like SQL, Git, Tableau, Databricks, etc. This is a growing team with a lot of exposure to various technical teams and tools so it is important this individual has the ability to work on various tasks and duties and an eagerness to learn and grow.
This is a permanent direct hire opportunity paying between $115,000 and $130,000 annually with a possible bonus.

Required Skills & Experience
3+ years of experience in Data Science roles
Experience developing and deploying predictive models and machine learning algorithms
Experience with Python development for data modeling
Experience analytical tools and technologies such databricks, Spark/PySpark, and cloud technologies
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience with visualization tools such as Tableu or PowerBI
SQL programming
Experience working with Agentic AI, LLMs, etc.
