Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Benefits Specialist to support our HR team in managing employee benefits programs. This role will play a key part in the annual renewal process, employee communications, and ongoing benefits administration. The ideal candidate will be organized, responsive, and capable of handling sensitive information with discretion.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with the annual benefits renewal process, including coordination with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Perform data entry related to benefits enrollment and changes.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits plans, eligibility, and coverage.
• Process employee re-enrollment forms and ensure timely updates to records.
• Support the rollout of new benefits programs to employees, including communications and logistics.
• Contribute to the development of a new benefits orientation program for onboarding.
• Assist in the analysis of current benefit offerings to help inform decisions on future programs.
• Generate and distribute weekly 401(k) and HSA reports.
• File and maintain benefits documentation in accordance with compliance standards.
• Provide support for other duties as required by the HR team.
• Spanish language skills are a plus and considered an asset for this role.

Compensation: $19-24/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience

Prior experience in HR or benefits administration preferred.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
