Job Description

Day to Day:
Responsible for preparing detailed and accurate construction estimates from concept through bid completion. Leads quantity takeoffs, subcontractor/vendor solicitation, bid leveling, scope analysis, budget development, and proposal strategy while coordinating with owners, architects, engineers, and internal teams to deliver competitive and complete project proposals.

Required Skills & Experience

Must-Haves:
• 5+ years of Commercial construction estimating experience
• Strong quantity takeoff and quantity survey experience
• Experience soliciting and leveling subcontractor/vendor bids
• Ability to identify scope gaps, exclusions, and risk factors
• Experience developing conceptual, schematic, and hard bid estimates
• Strong understanding of construction means, methods, drawings, and specifications
• Experience developing project schedules, crew productions, and durations
• Proficiency with:
o Timberline (Estimating Extended)
o On-Screen Takeoff (OST)
o Procore
o Microsoft Project
o Excel & Microsoft Office
• Ability to manage large, complex estimates independently

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Preferred
• Design-Build project experience
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management,
• Conceptual estimating experience
• Experience with commercial, healthcare, restaurant, food service, warehouse, and renovation projects
• Leadership or mentoring experience
