Job Description

The Process Project Engineer will report to the Process Optimization Group Supervisor and support new project development and implementation. They will provide technical leadership, ensuring clarity and accuracy of design against project goals and objectives, and proactively engage with company process engineering SMEs, local and corporate environmental teams, and operations to ensure scope clarity and accuracy. They will be working on a $100-105 million project aimed at developing the scope and addressing potential contaminants, including oxygen. The engineer will gather and analyze data to determine necessary equipment installations, evaluate the economic feasibility of the project, assist in designing all elements and equipment required, and monitor installations to ensure they are completed as expected.

Required Skills & Experience

6+ years of oil and gas refining experience
8+ years of experience in process engineering involving process implementation and development of projects
Experience with catalytic cracking, coking, or hydro processing.
Experience designing elements and equipment for projects.
Experience working on a 100mil+ project
Experience working with data to understand what equipment needs to be installed
Bachelors degree or higher in Chemical Engineering
