Job Description
A client in Spring, TX is looking for a Sr. SDET Engineer. This person will be responsible for ensuring product reliability, performance, and functional accuracy across complex enterprise applications. This person will be performing hands-on automation and need to have a great understanding of QA methodologies, along with the ability to lead testing activities within a fast-paced Agile environment. The person will collaborate closely with Product Owners, Developers, Business Analysts, and cross‑functional team members to validate requirements, enhance quality processes, and deliver high‑quality software solutions. This position is looking to pay between $40-50/hr.

Required Skills & Experience
8+ years of QA experience
5+ years of Automation testing experience
In-depth understanding of the various testing concepts (e.g. Functional, Usability, Availability, Performance).
Proficiency in Database query knowledge
Strong background in SDLC and Agile (Scrum) software development
Experience with different kinds of testing (Functional, System, End-to-End, Sanity, Regression, Build Verification, System Integration etc.)
End to end Functional automation experience using modern tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress etc.
In-depth understanding of API testing including API automation.
Experience with Java (Primary), C#, TypeScript/JavaScript (Secondary).
Experience with DevOps and CI/CD pipeline (Jenkins, Git Actions etc.).
Solid background on repository & version controlling systems e.g. Bitbucket, GitHub, Git bash.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience with CMMC
ISO compliance testing experience
