Job Description

A global technology company is seeking a Cyber Risk Management Engineer with extensive experience in managing cyber security risk compliance and assurance activities, proven ability to drive global compliance certifications such as ISO 27001, ISO 27017, SOC2, PCIDSS, and ability to evaluate control effectiveness and cyber security policies. This person will be partnering with various business units to manage information security governance and compliance. Expertise in identifying and tracking risks, measuring ongoing metrics, and developing strategies to improve security postures and awareness programs. This role will report onsite 3 days/week in Bengalaru, India.

Required Skills & Experience

6+ years of experience in Cyber Risk Management and Compliance

Experience developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies, controls, and policies to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001).

Experience with one or more of the following global compliance certifications: ISO 27001, ISO 27017, SOC2, PCIDSS

Experience leading compliance initiatives collaborating with senior stakeholders in business and IT

Experience conducting vendor assessments and managing third-party compliance risks

Experience enhancing security governance through detailed reporting and analysis

Experience evaluating and improving control systems to ensure compliance with regulatory standards

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Cybersecurity certifications such as: CompTIA IT Fundamentals+, CompTIA Security+, CompTIA A+
