Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Credit Operations Analyst for an Oil & Gas client located in The Woodlands, Tx. This individual will sit in the Credit Operations group and will support the credit manager in daily tasks. Additionally, they will ensure that the risk management policies are followed for all North American Natural Gas Trading and Upstream activities. The group works closely with the traders and their needs. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing credit exposure reports, daily margining, and collateral management activity of natural gas upstream and downstream operations. This individual will also support negotiation of credit related documentation as well as develop existing and new controls and processes.

Required Skills & Experience

A Bachelor's degree in any related field



A minimum of 3- 5 years of energy credit risk management and/or financial management experience



Familiarity with structured natural gas and power trading confirmations



Understanding of contractual credit risk management



Experience with Energy Trading Risk Management Systems

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Previous experience with energy master trading agreements (e.g. NAESB/ISDA/GasEDI) preferred



Experience with Allegro and SAP



Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred
