Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Chief of Staff to work onsite at one of our premier clients in Bangalore (Bengaluru), India. Their duties will include, but not limited to:
 - Acting as strategic partner for the Sr. Manager of Quality Engineering.
 - Act as a proxy for the Sr. Manager in meetings; delivering feedback/direction on topic on behalf of the Sr. Manager.
 - Keep track of employee management (scheduling meetings, tracking required trainings for employees, follow up on key action items)
 - Strategic Planning & Alignment: driving organization objectives preparing for meetings, and ensuring cross-functional alignment
 - Owning leadership meeting agendas and drafting internal/external communications on behalf of the Sr. Manager.
 - Gatekeeping & Decision Support: Filtering information to the executive, managing priorities, conducting research, and acting as a sounding board.
 - Spearhead special projects, identify bottlenecks and knowledge gaps across departments/teams and bridge them through relationship building

 - Saves Sr. Manager time by taking over tasks that do not require their direct attention.
 - Create clarity from ambiguity, translating rough ideas into actionable project plans.
 - Accelerate decision-making by preparing necessary data, context, and recommendations.

This role will be a hybrid Monday-Friday (3-4 days in the office; flex time for evening calls as necessary). Excludes major holidays and weekends.

Compensation: 15 - 20 LPA

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum 4 years of experience in a Chief of Staff type role (could also have Project Management background)
 
Proven experience interpreting complex data, metrics, and organization goals to provide decision support. Skilled at moving projects forward without having direct reports. Capable of navigating high-stakes, ambiguous, and confidential environments with professional judgement.

Strong with understanding business strategy/operations and identifying ways to elevate the organization

Strong "story telling skills"; ability to act as a proxy in meetings for upper management

Strong skills with MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and SharePoint

Strong networking skills with multiple teams/partners/stakeholders

Strong organization skills and communication skills (written, verbal, pro-activeness)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience working within an IT/technology environment (or similar to HP)

Experience working with people (understanding dynamics/"politics")
